FILTER UPGRADE - 89.00

Avatar filters have a upper frequency limit of 11khz. This frequency response upgrade is similar to the 2600 filter upgrade extending the cutoff frequency range from 11khz to 28khz. This upgrade also replaces some critical components in the signal path. Your filter sub-module is removed, tested, upgraded, re-tested and re-installed into main board "C".

AUDIO PATH UPGRADE V2.0 - 125.00

This mod replaces critical signal path components in the synthesizer section of your Avatar with audiophile grade components. Low end response is improved resulting in a more accurate wave shape. High end response is also Improved.

HIGHPASS FILTER BYPASS SWITCH - 49.00

Oscilloscope anaysis of a square wave wiith the filter open of any Odyssey or Avatar reveals a ultra low end roll off. The main culprit is the simplistic passive highpass filter. Even when the high-pass filter slider is all the way down, it's still removing the ultra low end from the signal path. This switch cuts out the highpass filter from the signal path. Please note: You will need a monitor system that reproduces very low frequencies to hear the difference.

LFO FREE RUN SWITCH - 69.00

It's impossible to get a slow moving sweep on the LFO while controlling the Avatar from a remote keyboard. When this switch is in the free run position, the keyboard will not restart the LFO as with stock units.

ADSR TURBO SWITCH - 69.00

This mod installs a switch in your Avatar's ADSR section that engages the turbo mode speeding up the time constant on the ADSR to attain 2600 type percussive envelopes. This upgrade now features a 3 position switch with an extra slow mode for extended attack, decay and release times. Also available for the AR generator.

PORTAMENTO ENABLE - 49.00

Stock Avatars have their portamento circuits hard-wired to the guitar section. This mod rewires the portamento circuit so that it affects the keyboard CV input.

FILTER MODULATION INVERTER SWITCH - $69.00

This mod installs a professional grade miniature toggle switch and circuitry that inverts the frequency modulation input #3 of the VCF. This will give you the ability to sweep the filter downward using negative ADSR envelopes similar to the ARP 2500. The inverter also can invert the AR generator signal going to the filter as well.

POWER SUPPLY REBUILD - 89.00

Certain critical components in your power supply have a shelf / working life of 20 years maximum. It's probably time your power supply was rebuilt. These units are getting very old, so if you are serious about your ARP, you should get the Power Supply Rebuild.

The new Mega-Lumina upgrade features the original the ARP factory color code illuminated with 7 different color, special order, LEDs including pink. The black sliders utilize purple LEDs. This upgrade now includes a rear switch to disable the illumination. This upgrade is intended for the Odyssey so the guitar section sliders in the Avatar will not be replaced.

The kit now features a pink blinking LFO slider indicating the LFO rate. The ADSR and AR sliders now feature optional dynamic LED readout of the envelope generator voltage levels.

This version 3.0 features a new internal LED power supply that connects to your AC input lines. It features a universal input range. It can use 120VAC or 230VAC for the input. Removing the original sliders without damaging the printed circuit boards requires a competent tech.
